20 years...20 years. It is so hard to fathom.
Mr Eshrich (sp) made a statement in photography class that really none of us understood..
"Look at your friends and classmates today......in 20 years you might be friends with a couple of them"
As the years went on that statement became more and more true...Is that sad?
20 years of losing.... losing hair (hello 5 head), losing short term memory (living like a rock star..is just not good) losing money (thank you tech stock fallout), losing girlfriends (sorry Leslie, I was just an ASS back then), losing friends.
and...20 year of growth...growing old, growing up (and out..) growing a bank account, growth in knowing who I am as a person, husband and father....and never taking that for granted...(well, my wife might argue that point once and a while)
So...what am I doing today...I am a 17 year veteran at the Boeing company (locations always tbd...currently everett) as an IT professional...living in Snohomish, Wa. I have been married since 93 and Kanna and I have a 4 year old named Molly..I absolutley love hitting the trails on the weekend with my mountain bike (usually solo....it is so hard to find people that like to #1 Be outdoors #2 Excercise #3 take mild risks on a mountain bike)... Also love to travel when I can ...usually the tropics (I hate the NW in the winter..) Love the Florida and Hawaii trips....If I only invested in stock instead of beer and cigs and...when I was 18-25 (ok...30ish)
Take care all.
