To create a new blog, click on "Create my Blog" on the right side of the page in the New_Blog pane.  This will allow you to set the general settings of your blog.  The Title should be your name in the format of First (Maiden) Last.  The description can be as simple as "My blog".  It will appear at the top of each blog entry you make.  Finally choose which options you want and click update.  It will take a few seconds for the blog to be created, so please be patient.  Do not hit the "Back" button on the browser if it times out or click Update twice.
To create a new blog entry, click on "Add Blog Entry" on the right side of the page in the New_Blog pane.  You will not have this option until you first create your blog (see above).  You can create multiple entries and they will all be tracked back to the parent blog for easy organization.

my blog blatently and inadvertently advertises austin, texas: "a quiet little drinking town with a live music problem", my hospitalities and services as reference and tour guide, iona handcrafted books (.com), and my band of three years now: rubber robot (.net and myspace.com).

shout out to all you meadowdalians!

i would probably still live in the dank nw forest, near family and friends, if i wasn't so fond of smothering heat.  so i moved to austin jan 2 of 2000 and felt reborn.  married a girl ...
